Nowdays the toughest job is of doing marketing in any sector. According to me some people thought that marketing is nothing but only placing an advertisment that sells a product or service.But it is far so complicated than we can't even think about it.. In marketing it requires tools, methods and concepts in order to ensure the product or service success..
Marketing requires much forethought and strategies .
Marketing needs to be handled in a methidical and organized fashion , otherwise risk for failure is invitable. Many feel that competition is bad for marketing , yet it is actually a great tool in which marketers can adjust their product or service offerings . Even though healthcare mainly consists of services , these services still need to be sold to the public. This is going to demonstrate all the different tools , techniques, methods , and concepts that can be used while marketing a product from a new product or service srage to the end decline stage .
As well my personal interpretation of marketing a pharmaceutical product is difficult because as one of my family member in this service use to say always that their is no work in the market , no sale in the market .. With this he is always upset about what to do next because company managers use to put presure on them that you have to make sales as much as you can .. They use to say do whatever but sales must to up to the mark only ... But i want to say one thing if there is no work in the market than how they can make up to mark sales..... Its not easy always to sale the product in the market .. but yes it is easy when the demand of the same product is high than the sale will also high because demand and sale have positive relationship between them ....
Now , there are four(4) stages of product life cycle :
Stage 1: introduction of the particular product .
Stage 2: growth of the same product.
Stage 3: maturity of the product.
Stage 4: decline of the product .
A product cycle vary due to various marketplace product or service offerings .. Maturity length may vary because the end consumer may not be prepared to accept the new offerings .. Decline of a product or service can be result of customer interest and then disinterest . When a product or service does not extend its growth ,it can be because the product has lost its usefulness. In conclusion the product cycle can be used as a marketing planning .
Large pharmacuetical industries are making big profits on medcations . Having such a high cost for medication prevents patients from receiving the care that they need .
